Ahh, sorry to bother you guys again about my college decisions . But...

Originally I wanted to major in business, but I'm not like 100% certain about going into that field. I was thinking more of Baruch because it is a one of the top business schools. But then my mom's friends who knows people from SUNYs and mentors, etc. says that I shouldn't rush into business and the first couple years I should pick a general study and pick a major in maybe my Junior year? They recommend going to either Stonybrook or Binghamton and said that SUNY schools are better than CUNYs for various reasons.

They said that generally it's better to choose a better college first before choosing a better major. And how all SUNYs have honors dorms for honor students. CUNY schools don't have dorms and it would be harder to make friends and there would be a lot of commuting needed and not much time to actually hang around the campus.

On the other hand, I heard that Stony is basically good for the science field only while Binghamton is good for multiple things including business (but not as good as Baruch). Bing is upstate and so has a pretty limited environment and i heard that the environment in Stony isn't too good.

And I'm pretty sure I won't go into fields like science, law, engineering, architecture, teaching.. so business is my best choice. Sooo... what should I do? Pick Baruch for business program or go into another SUNY for a better college in general? A couple questions.. if I decide that I want to major in something else in business would it be harder to transfer from a CUNY school rather than a SUNY? If I want to apply to a better business school (such as NYU) after the first year, would it be easier to apply as an already business major in CUNY or in a SUNY but not business major? . I have to make a decision by the May 1st deadline tomorrow =/. Please recommend a school and list any reasons or comments you may have .
