lol I hope so :) When's yours? GOOD LUCK TO YOU TOO gosh oh well if it goes bad at least I am going to a concert tomorrow and I am getting my hair done later, so happy right! :) and omg I just remembered I still owe you those essays hehe =)

good luck to both of you!

yes you do! email them anytime :)

a concert sounds fun...are you playing or listening?

mine is tomorrow...Lindsey is right and I should just be happy that I got one, since I was so upset when I thought that I wouldnt...but I can't help but be a little nervous. :o I totally psyched myself out after reading that asc interview website.

thanks again chidimma, i still have my fingers crossed for you :)

I'm going to get some sleep, but I just wanted to wish massive amounts of luck to those of you who have interviews before I post here again. So there it is! Good luck, and have fun!

has anyone set up an interview at their house? how do those go- formal or informal? My alumni is a professor of medicine at Northwestern and is coming to my house on sunday at 2! Wish me TONS of luck cuz im gonna need it!

good luck to you too, hollyhoxx :) and thanks Beth. I just posted a sad note on my journal b/c I haven't been called yet. Trying to be happy though. :)

interview at your house? I've never spoken to anyone who has had one, but GOOD LUCK holly

thanks dtown

be HAPPY chidimma :D HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY

Remember, Yale doesn't take any points from you if you DON'T have an interview...If I were a lousy pessimist, I would say that it's just another chance to mess up and screw yourself over big time

thanks bebere87 n chidimma!

Listening :) I am hopeless at playing anything musical sadly hehe oh oh chi it's fine if you don't get an interview as long as your recs are fine imo.. Yale doesn't seem to value the interview much.. I mean even 7s on their ASC report thing get waitlisted and rejected heh

Ok it so did not go well :x Lasted like an hour and as I was going down I think I met another interviewee going up =p

I think I bored him to death and I hate all those accomplishments, passions questions that they always ask... I guess I'm too much of a slacker to be able to tackle all those without lying damn hehe. Plus HE LOOKED bored! And I don't think I was very articulate and all that everything was fuzzy in my head.. argh I haven't felt all that horrible yet but probably because I cannot remember exactly what was said..

He was a nice guy though, but I was trying to censor my thoughts and self because he told me he has never played video games or anything like that because he was afraid of getting hooked and I'm like uh oh ok refrain from saying anything on that.. and I am one of those obsessive addictive kinda person.

I kinda expected him to yawn at any moment or fall asleep gosh my ego is bruised but oh well I just hope he writes me a good report.. though I feel like one of those '3's already haha.

Squirming back into my hole in the ground already, byebye, and good luck!

And beth I need that pessimism thing because it just happened to me lol

Don't worry!!!!! I'm sure it went better than you expected. Perhaps the interviewer uses his "poker face" during interviews because he doesn't his impression to affect the student's performance? MAYBE...he actually loved you, but he didn't want you to get overconfident, so he PRETENDED to be bored! In fact, I'm sure that's what happened. Yalies can be tricky like that!

Good luck to those of you who have upcoming interviews! They're really not that bad so don't get overly nervous. Just be yourself and let your passions show.

I finally got my interview - it's this Sunday!!

Lol as much as I hope that I don't think so : ( I hope he gets hit over the head by a piece of falling cement or something and get selective amnesia or something and think I'm brilliant HAHA =p

I'm sur eit wans't that bad! cheer up! please? :)

Well if you had been a fly on the wall.. :p

I'm not saddish, more appalled at myself ;) But oh well, something to learn from =p

Yay wmgan! buona fortunata!

mugan, DON'T WORRY, I am willing to bet you $100 that it didn't go anywhere near as badly as you think.

tomorrow at 2 tomorrow at 2. i am soooooooooooooo excited. im being interviewed by an alum of the class of 2003. i googled him, he was in Ezra Stiles. and i get sushi too! YAY!
