AP Spanish
AP English
AP Government
AP Biology
AP Calculus

You'll be fine; just don't quit.

thats almost the same as mine, except instead of gov im taking APchem, and instead of spanish im taking APUS

You'll live.

My friend is taking 7 this year, I'm taking 6 or 7 next year.

Yes. You willl be fine.

Sure, but expect to sacrifice whatever spare time you have

Depends how rigorous those classes are in your school. Ask the students in those classes about the rigor of the class to try to get an idea of how difficult the course is.

I would use the summer to try to get ahead in these classes so you can have a little free time over the school year;

calculus is pretty easy to get ahead in on your own; read through the first few chapters and learn all the differentiation rules over the summer, and youll be way ahead of the game by the time school starts

biology is also pretty easy to get ahead in on your own - just read through the first few chapters of your bio textbook over the summer and get a "feel" for photosynthesis, protein synthesis, and physiology - you don't have to understand these subjects thouroughly, but having a brief idea of these subjects will help you alot in your school year

government is also pretty easy. Get yourself a copy of the princeton review book for ap government and just skim through it. Government is not as complex as the other subjects (and it would also help if you keep up with the news and politics, though its not necessary)

Theres not much that you can do for english language... just get ready for a whole lot of homework and essay writing.

If you manages your time well, and don't go to an ultracompetitive school, there's no need to worry. Just prepare ahead for your AP's (not like what I did this year).

I dont know about your school, but at my school taking calc, bio, and gov in the same year is a very bad idea

With time management you will be fine, although you may not have much time for a social life. However, don't think about cramming for all of them by the time May comes along unless it is your dream to get low grades.

I took 5 this year too. Just be prepared to stay up till 2am reading for government and biology (or not, if you have wonderful time management skills).

Im sure you'll do fine, as long as you manage your time well and not procrastinate. I'm taking 6 next year, maybe 7 if I choose to self study environmental science or one of the econs.

May the force be with you... :D You'll survive!
