<p>If your father was born a Mexican citizen then that would make you a of person Mexican descent. Thus you would be MA (Mexican American) assuming you were born in the US. MA is considered Hispanic.</p>

<p>‘Amount’ of Hispanic heritage is not a factor used in the US Census and college admissions definition of Hispanic (Note: this is just for admissions, some scholarship programs do use definitions that include the amount of Hispanic background). </p>
<p>The critical question is, do you identify with your Hispanic ethnicity?</p>
