are u kidding... cornell is one of the hardest to graduate from... even tho acceptance is high compared to the others, it's academics are more strenuous than maybe hyp... and also... haven't u ever heard that stanford - "is where people go after they're rejected by the ivies?" not that that's tru, but it is the general stereotype... i'm not saying it's a bad school, it's up there with HYP, i just think that more that not, people think that cornell/columbia/penn are the jokes of the ivies when in some cases they're as good if not better than hyp

In some cases, maybe. As a whole? No. S > cornell/columbia/penn

cujoe i dunno where you get ur info, but stanford is at the level of harvard, yale, princeton. mad kids get into cornell from my school, and i dont think theyre dropping out or committing suicide. we had two go to stanford two years ago, one being the salutatorian. im applying early to harvard, but id rather go to stanford. harvard, yale, have no engineering program to speak of.

cornell used to have the highest suicide rate... now it's second to nyu sigh
