Do UCs and private colleges in general (UBC, UCSD, UCI, Pitzer, Pomona, Pepperdine, and USC in particular) want to see Math II as one of the SAT IIs? Because I am a very weak math person, but very strong in language. I'm more than willing to take the math if it's what they prefer (although they don't outright say it), but I was just wondering if I should.

depends on your major. If your field is not too math related, then you don't need them. Actually, not many fields/colleges ACTUALLY require them...its just "highly recommended"

same here too, hermione tapper. I'm weak at math and can see the huge difference btwn IC and IIC. I want to major in Business/Entrepreneurship but don't really know if I should take IIC; it;s hard for me. However, im st rong in languages.

Yes, UCB/UCLA prefers that you take the Math IIC SAT II exam if you're majoring in engineering/science, along with a science SAT II exam, preferably one directly related to the field of your major.

Many schools recommend that one of your SATII's be the Math IIC, often regardless of major. However, it is much more important if you major in physics (for example).
