Since we’re snowed in, I’ve been going through all the mail in the “college pile.” As I was taking a look at the “sorry” letter from University Fellows Experience, I noticed that it says “you will be receiving in a few weeks an invitation to come to UA for a personalized in depth visit with the Honors College.”

D has already been to Honors Day back in the Fall, plus CSD earlier this month. She’ll be at an honors Bama Bound then Alabama Action. Any idea what this upcoming Honors visit would have that she hasn’t already gotten?

Thanks M2CK…that’s what I was wondering. If the schedule looks boilerplate compared to the other two events (I saved the handouts then D may skip. But it’s not a bad drive to Tuscaloosa so we could be persuaded to visit again.

noticed that mentioned too - It’s quite a flight for us but if there is something new Honors-y to do the we would consider it. A few loose ends we’d rather tie up in person before registering for classes.

Last year DD and I attended a smaller Honors Day, I believe it was March 6th.

We could not attend or visit before because of athletic conflicts.

U of A was the first of admitted student / honors programs we attended. After our day the other schools had alot to live up to!

I hope they do have another day for those who have not visited & those students undecided.

We had a Introduction from the Honors College, discussion from a small group of current students. DD then went a sampled a honors lecture, and we also went to an introduction to her declared major (5 students in that group). Then lunch and dorm tour. They also had a bus tour for those of us who had not been to campus.
