ACT score is quite low. ECs are fine. It would also be very important to see your transcript.

The church stuff will definitely help at BC (regardless of what they say…) You might want to retake the ACT though…

A 27 would probably be close to an immediate rejection from BC (definite rejection from Cornell). I think that your ec’s are mediocre at best. You have no leadership. You’re self-rating your recs and essays, which generally indicates that they are probably worse than they actually are. I would honestly say you are probably need a bit of a reality check and you need to cross both off the list unless you significantly bring up the test scores.

@jarrett211 lol no leadership? What county college did you go to?

I never like to be negative, but a 27 is a no go for both…a 32 minimum might put you in the running. Otherwise, I would not waste time on them.

Perhaps use @jarrett211 advice to better identify and discuss your leadership (camp?) positions.

@DunderMifflin27 I have not gone to a “county college” (what is that supposed to mean/be?). And I am sticking true to what I said. Where is your leadership? Why the lol? I don’t see any leadership there (if you are claiming that a camp counselor is your leadership like HRSMom may be claiming, then in my opinion that is weak/typical and will not help you stand out. And neither will church because a thousands of other applicants will also list church). Perhaps you could explain yourself further, but if this was what you were submitting to me and I was an admissions rep, I would see no documented leadership.
