I was just wondering whether there are any Germans applying for MIT...what about your stats (abiturnote, extracurricular, sat...)?
I'm really curious.. :)</p>
<p>I'm not a German, but I'm studying here (univ, not HS).. I'm applying for transfer (you read that right). Stats are on p r stats.com (same username, its starred so can't link directly to the page).. In short, top10% of class, ECs: mainly music, programming, techie stuff and some writing/sketching. Some national and one int'l award. you can say that i'm that 'passion of learning' guy rather than one who has lots of achievements.</p>
<p>(Updated) SATs are biology m 670 (well I didnt have bio in school), writing 710, math1 710, phy 730, math2 800 .. i know, nothing spectacular, but well that's what i have (and revere).</p>
<p>Where from in Germany are you? I'm in Bremen.</p>
<p>Ich bin nach Berlin und Dresden gegangen im Sommer. Es war sehr gut; Ich hoffen anderen deutsche leheren sehen auf MIT. Tut mir leid, ich kann nur ein bischen deutsche sprechen.</p>
<p>Es ist besser, wenn Sie Englisch hier verwenden. Sonst werden sie böse! :p

<p>aw5k, I live in die vereinigten staaten. I studied german this summer and went to Berlin and Dresden. I definitely plan on studying german in college.</p>
<p>Hmm I've been in Bonn for all of 4 minutes (train station) :D Berlin is cool though.. just been back from a day long trip last week.
