This is waiting is pure torture. I applied Oct. 25th. I received the high volume letter in Janurary, sent my grades in Feb. along with a recommendation letter from the Special Olympics. I do a lot of volunteer work for them. I’ve heard nothing. Portal hasn’t changed. I called today and they said I should hear in the next couple of weeks.
UDel is my first choice and I just want to know already either way. I’ve heard of no denials. I’m from New Jersey several people have been accepted over the last couple of months, but have heard of no denials.
What is the likelihood they will send all the denials at at once, end of March?
Certainly seems that way as tons of kids by me who received decisions have been acceptances. Shameful if that’s the case .hang in and good luck , I’ve been waiting 18 weeks unreal to say the least.
Do most people hear first online or through the mail?
There has been at least one mention of a person getting a denial earlier on this thread. Applicants may hear first by a portal change, receiving a letter in the mail, or by email (the first two are most common). There does not appear to be a consistent pattern to this.

I applied early January and I hear back exactly 8 weeks later with an acceptance! I really didn’t think I was gonna get in!

@sagemae17 Ditto for my son. Does this mean they’re mean and this is how they reject?? I would think not. I think I read the portal was down this past weekend, so perhaps there are some bugs.
@sagemae17 My son reports that portal is back to normal. Which means no news! But at least he can get on.
@brucemag Same here no news yet! Hopefully find out a desicion soon.
The portal said something similar like that for my daughter, and the next day we got a packet in the mail saying she was accepted. Don’t know if that was a coincidence or not - it may not mean anything. Waiting is such torture.
Sigh…still nothing here. Sadly did register my dd for admitted student’s day at three other colleges this morning just in case.
