Unfortunately, my ECs and essays were unremarkable, so the best school I got into was Harvey Mudd(while all my equally smart but more active/sociable friends got into Ivies) and I’m going to Berkeley, my safety.

Good! I did not spot any bitterness. Berkeley is not inferior to ivies for many fields. Work on your weak spots and make a lot of friends. I have no doubt that you will be very successful there. Good Luck!

^Thanks, I guess. I am slightly bitter, but it’s time to move on.

when will we be notified by college board regarding this award

I just made National Scholar after my junior year! Pretty stoked.

I think they notify schools and mail certificates in October. Read that somewhere. Not sure though.

I should be getting the award later this summer though it won’t be of any help since I have already graduated from high school.

Anyway, the specific tests I took, along with the years I took them, are…

Sophomore Year:

World History - 5

Junior Year:

Biology - 5
English Language and Composition - 5
Environmental Science - 4
Psychology - 5
United States History - 5

Senior Year:

Calculus BC / AB Subscore - 5 / 5
Computer Science A - 5
English Literature and Composition - 4

Still baffled at how I didn’t get a 5 on Environmental Science when I did get a 5 on arguably harder exams. Also, I will mention that I took the Chemistry exam my senior year but had it removed from my record because I already knew I did not pass walking out of the exam room.
