Im aware that this has already been addressed previously, but to be sure that as long as you average a 4 that you can have a 3 and still get nat'l scholar.

is there anyone out there who is a national ap scholar who has gotten a grade less than a 4 on an ap test?

thing about it... if you take enough then you can get a 3 or even a 2.
lets say someone takes 10 exams

5,5,5,5,5,4,4,4,3,2

average = 4.2

My D had one 3 out of her 9 AP's and still got National.

As long as EIGHT of your APs average to be a 4 you get national ap scholar.

I don't understand. Do they pick the eight highest, or just average all the ones you've taken?

On eight, you need 4 or higher, and an average of 4 or better total.

So if you got 5 on 8 of them and 3 on one of them, it's still good.

National AP Scholar: 3 on French Lang, 4 on Eng Lang, 5s on the rest

As long as average > 4 and you have 8 tests with 4+ scores

So let's see...if i have a

5 in Comparative Government
4 in Biology
5 in U.S. History

Will that qualify me?
