I don't have a chance to get the National AP Scholar. Is that a major blow?

Do you think I still have a shot for State AP scholar in the state of NC?

i have another question involving national ap scholar. i took 8 tests w/average score of 4.125 (two 3s, three 4s and three 5s). does the average score has to be 4 or higher or do all the scores have to be 4 or higher in order to get the award?

all 8 have to be 4.0 and higher

i would like to know why in the hell did you go on an insane ap frenzy this year?
what were you trying to gain by taking 12 exams this year???

college credit and knowledge;
but lets stay on topic..

it would have made more sense to take less tests and get a higher score on each one...

There is another kid from NC that posts on here that I think has more than you. So chances are you wont get state.

You took EIGHT AP tests this year? Crazy! How do you find the time to study for all of them?

The OP took 12 this year.

Careful time management, no social life, and a lot of cramming :)

I took 9 AP tests total. I got 5 5's, 3 4's, and 1 3. The avg is over 4, so does this make me a nat'l scholar? not that it matters at all since i just graduated, but i was curious.

raindrop1019, yes you qualify. National AP scholar is 8 tests of 4's or 5's and an average of 4 for all your tests.
