National AP Scholar

I know I'm going to be a National AP Scholar. However, I received all 4s (took 8 APs before senior year). Will the fact that I got 4s hurt my admission chances to top colleges like Harvard, Yale, and Stanford?

no................but don't you need a 4.5 average....just a guess

Schools don't even really look at AP scores...

Isn't there some sort of level of AP scholar if you took 3 Aps, and averaged above a 3 or something?

yes, you got ap scholar award, ap scholar with distinction, ap scholar with honor, and etc

for ap scholar do you have to average 3 or do you just need 3 aps with a 3 or above

Just 3 exams with 3 or higher.

Ap National Scholar is average of 4. And 4 on at least 8 exams
I'm a tad bit worried about this. I just recieved my sophmore AP's today. 4's on Ap Calc AB & AP US Hist. Wish Adds to my 2 fours from freshman year. Straight 4's, it makes me shiver a little. I signed up for 5 Ap classes next year. It would suck if don't ever get a five.

Not everyone admitted to those colleges is even an AP National Scholar. Congratulations. Do the best you can on all aspects of your application, and don't worry about it all year.

Is there any advantage to having all 5's on like 8 Aps after your junior year as opposed to like 10 4's for getting into college?

I think there is only 7000+ have this distinction(AP scholar), so don't fret.

Are you serious? Prior to this year, all I had ever gotten on AP tests were 3s. In the end, I got into a pretty good school w/a scholarship. Don't worry about AP scores, especially when you're worrying about the difference btwn a 4 and 5.

Correction. I mean National AP scholar, there are 7,352

Q: If I take two APs (I took 1 already and got 5) on my senior year, will I be able to get those awards and stuffs for AP Scholar? Assuming that I do well.

grayflacon89// yeah I think you can get AP scholar ..
is this AP National Scholar really worth it?
lets say I have 7 APs w/ 4 or 5 .. and one with 3 (before senior year)
should i self-study one exam just to get 8 qualified APs
and one exam lower than 4 ??
