duno how that fares as compare to those of u who got accepted.......

Anybody accepted would've heard by now, right?

I believe that Wisconsin is rolling admissions. It is quite possible that you would not have heard, especially if you applied after December. Also, many people apply to Wisconsin as their "safety" but go elsewhere. This could open up spaces after May 1.

Safety?

Wisconsin's selectivity is particularly stringent for out of state applicants and furthermore, only top 20% of the wisconsin high school seniors are allowed to apply to Madison. Lots of highly qualified seniors routinely get rejected or waitlisted. The high school counselors are indeed complaining of a hard time trying to get their kids in present days.

Moreover, academically wisconsin shines even brighter than lots of the private schools who ranks higer overall because of their funding and resource, in my opinion which can be quite intangible and inaccessible to students. Then think of the shear size of the school, it needs 5500 students to fill its first yr classes, of coz it can't only admits 5500 in order to safeguad its yield rate.

Its academic reputation and education quality is excellent.
