Argh, i'm getting frustrated. I try everywhere and most people are not hiring.

Soon to be. I hope to find a spot in electronics, but willing to concede elsewhere, so long as my Fall living-situation is solidified. Employment opportunities shrink by the day. Where are you located? ~

It seems like everybody is hiring where I live.

I was reading an article about this in a magazine at work today, only it was specifically about the lifeguard supply. Most years pools nationwide are fighting to the bone to get and keep lifeguards staffed so they can stay open, but this year they've gotten an outstanding number of qualified applicants that they've turned down more people than ever before.

I'm glad I got my job last summer, though even then it was relatively tough--over 100 students applied for 12-15 openings for an on-campus job.

I've pretty much given up on a summer job by now. I only have a little over a month at home now anyway. Plus I'm starting a summer class on Monday that runs through August 14th. I have a job at Abercrombie but that doesn't count because I spend more at the store using the discount than I actually get paid, haha

OFF TOPIC
Cards4Life, that's odd. The seasonal work visas that many pools used to import Europeans have been cut, forcing pools to dip further into recruitment.
