Anyone accepted for class of 2010?

You should apply anyways....USMMA is a great school. What was your first choice?

I thought about it but since USMMA is a small school, they don't offer the Liberal Arts majors, including economics and/or political science I was looking into. My first and only choice is the USNA and I'm still waiting for one of my senator to give me a nomination... sigh

I got an LOA from Merchant Marine. I was wondering who else was going...

Congatulations!!

ham I thought you were going to NAPS?

Oooooooo. Now what? Boy Ham, you've got some great choices. Bet you're going to really think things out. If you have any questions about the academy, all of us here might be able to answer some. Haven't seen any other kids who have accepted yet on this forum. But if you'd like to talk to kids who are there, we can hook you up. Let us know & good luck! And CONGRATS!!!!

Actually it's "girl" ham...ha ha...as in hannah...good luck to you of course in whatever you decide...

Boss, you putz. I knew that! LOL I'd done my research before posting and saw she'd posted her name as hannah in an earlier thread. I meant something like "Boy oh boy" or "Boy, thats tough". You just try to get me anyway you can don't ya? I'm gonna be watching you like a hawk. Better use your spell check! LOL And you leave Ham alone! No recruiting to the other side. She's ours! We might have a future KPer in the works so don't muck it up. We need her to beat CG in all things. He-Haw pal !!

Next up for the Bears...rematch with KP at the All-Academy wrestling meet to be held in February...stay tuned. Remember also JM that Taffy has an app in at CGA so don't be surprised if she(ha ha) comes to New London...

NUTS! When did that happen? I missed it. Oh well, Taffys already broken my heart with all his Army talk.

I await Feb. with much glee. We have a secret weapon! LFWB! Sadly, I don't foresee any sport of my very own in the near future so I have to take yours & LFWBDad's.... Dang books are stopping any chances at gloating.

That should be some meet! They also have VMI, Norwich, and Citadel in addition to the Big Five.
Don't fret JM you can root for LFWB and Steve vy kar i us ly...ha ha look that up in your Funk and Wagnalls...HA! Happy 40th anniversary to "Laugh In"...Jm was the original "sock it to me" girl...in case you didn't know.

"You bet your bippy"!! I couldn't let that pass though. I just had to laugh because I found it very odd that you referred to the "sock it to me" girl. Good 'ol Goldie. You're not the only one who has said that over the years so I found it too funny. Wish I had some of those diggy clothes she wore back then. They're back "in". Got that pocket dictionary right here on my desk too. I always have to look up what Bill says cause sometimes he doesn't speak english. Hey! We all can't be the brightest crayons in the box, or so Jamz says to me when he shakes his head over somethin' I say or do. I either get told I'm Goldie Hawn or Helen Hunt depending. LOL I don't get it....

My guess is that the Mids will win their 3rd AAC in a row. And Norwich will be the best DIII team. And that KPs Danny Song will be the highest placing DIII finisher. He's already pinned Army's 141 pounder and pinned CGA's.

20 cyber bucks on KP Boss. You in?

Ok count me in...HA...the tittly-winx teams will also be meeting this w/e at KP. Put your money on KP in that one.

recognition at usmma is different from the other academies. we get recognized once we've completed a list of tasks. we earn it, besides we have it harder anyway.

You would probably regret not ,at least, returning an application since you received the nomination. My son sent his in after the nomination, and then decided to go there. Not a bad back-up plan (or first choice, either). I wouldn't recommend wasting the opportunity.

Hi goingboeing...are you a KP parent???? :)

Yes, my son is a 2009er.

goingb... Welcome:)....

great to have another USMMA parent on board... my son is a plebe in 4th co and a deckie.

LOL...Wait til Jamzmom sees that KP has a new parent on this forum ...
she'll be busting at the seams. Goingboeing, hope you like chocolate and merlot...we often turn to those delicacies after reading some posts.

Seriously, I am thrilled to have another parent to share info with or to pester with questions.

YAY for goingboeing!! Welcome! Welcome!
USMMA Class of 2009 brilliant parents on CC - 4

Glad to see another parent has found the way here. The next party I hope we all get to celebrate is Recognition Day. This means big things to this parent. No more sending boodle boxes cause they can finally buy their own stuff!
