Anyone applying to Germany? (IUB?)

hey rudess, i'm aplpying for round 4 as well. And i kinda need fin aid, so i'm pretty much thinking like u, that all the money has been given out. And the other problem is, it's stated on the website that countries outside the europeon union will have a virtually impossible time getting a visa if accepted in round 4. Do u think that will affect the admission decision as well?

Well, if it's says that, then it probably will. How would you get to IUB on time if you don't have a visa? I don't think I'm going to apply then...

well, virtually impossible is not totally impossible... i think i'm still gonna try.

got into Colgate...withdrawing from IUB !!

thanks :p

hehe.....(this ten character rule is silly)

type your msg, add lots of spaces, then a smiley/period etc. it will come out normal.

I'm in guys.....financial aid info to follow

I'm also in; probably not going there, though...

where else have u ppl got in ??

Smith, Mount Holyoke, Grinnell and some other colleges not in the us.

hey. If my app reaches on the 23rd of April, will they evaluate it after the round 4 deadline(June 1) or before? And will mine applying so late affect the admission decision?

spkelly, it shouldn't cause any problems... you might be be a little late for visa application.

i got in Moscow State and MIT

hey vesselina...ur list is cool !!...where r u going...???

Thanks, ahtsisab:) After a careful consideration, I chose Smith. Where are you headed this fall?

i'm going to colgate !!

check ur PMs vesselina !!

What is your major at IUB, Did you receive any merit scholarship?

merit scholarship at IUB...ah yes....indeed...
i got 10.000 euros merit scholarship! Kool.

Then i received my finaid packageL:
10.000 euros merit based
7500 student loan
bout 1500 family contribution

where are the grants????
so its mostly bull**** with the merit scholarships. And 1500 euros for tuition only plus other expenses.... kinda too much for my family.

So if all goes well it will be Princeton this fall... (no irony here, Bremen-Princeton was a tough decision for me)
