Anyone else get a letter from UNC?

i wrote about a special circumstance that happened in my life. not a sob story, a "how i became empowered" essay.

he said he liked it because i wrote so well. it really is just my writing. i love to write, and it shows. :-)

im still in shock that this happened.

ahh congrats getouttabuffalo!!!!

What does anyone think this means?

"ok i got a letter a couple of days ago but its different...it says that an alumni that i had been in contact with strongly recommended me and that it would be apart of my admissions decision....what does that mean?"

It means that an alumni recommended you. ???

ok lol...i was seeing if anyone thought it meant more than that

I got an email from my admissions representatives today with this at the end:

"As you continue to make plans for college, we hope that Carolina remains at the top of your list. You’re certainly at the top of our list, and we’ll be in touch soon."

Thoughts?

Ummmm.....you are in. lol

I actually didn't really pay attention to this email. I thought everyone gets it. Here it is in full:
