anyone else nervous? the Pomona board is DEAD. i know its a LAC and small but almost 1/4 the post count of williams or swarthmore? come on!!!

is Pomona anyone elses first choice? and is anyone else as nervous as i am!!! im about to go ask another teacher to write me another recommendation, but i think its too late. is it? would it be too rude?

why does the notification date have to be 10 days AFTER every other school? IM GOING TO BE DYING. because what does it matter if i do (not) get into Pomona?

In another thread, somebody said they received their acceptance the end of March last year, eventhough the date said April 10.

Pomona is one of my first choices. If I were very , very, very lucky, my choices would be between Pomona and Stanford. If only I have that choice to make!!!!:)

The day my letter came home, I made myself numb to the possiblity of rejection and it came as a GREAT surprise that I got in.

Good luck to all of you. I'm so glad I applied early and got everything else over with. =x All the kids at my school are getting letters and it's fun to know where everyone's going and whatnot. Woot for senior year coming to a close!

Pomona's my first choice too. I've been looking at the posts here for a bit, thought I should post myself seeing as it is usually rather dead! I think we have some momentum going now though...
Yeah, I'm a bit nervous about living so far away for the first time (I live in North Yorkshire, England) but I can't wait to come!
They're playing Phantom Planet's 'California' from the OC on the radio ATM, makes me smile everytime I hear it!
Good luck to people still waiting,

just a sampling of some of the tvs shows me and my roommate download lol
we download the episodes about 5 hrs they've aired on tv. love the college's super fast internet connection. and every one in the hallway always gathers in the lounge to watch

umm you can get cable in ur dorm room
but you have to pay for it
we were thinking of just paying for cable and putting the tv in the lounge (our own lounge in the hallway not the big lounge thats downstairs) and splitting the cost between the people in the hallway but i just prefer downloading it. that way i can watch whenever i want

the big lounges all have cable with tvs.
smith campus center has a nice big screen tv with cable too. its in the game room upstairs. you should visit it if you ever go on a tour here.
