<p>What a downer! Heard nothing for months and months. Finally called on late January and was told, "You have nothing to worry about. If you don't get a call from an alum by February 1st, call us again." Still no call. Called back in early Feb. and was told, "It is too late to do anymore interviews, but don't worry whether you have an interview or not doesn't matter for Georgetown." Anybody believe that?</p>
<p>I’m a transfer candidate and was told I should hear something by mid-March, if that helps you at all.</p>
<p>I was told that an interview was required, but the person could have been wrong… I got an email telling me to contact the alum myself and set up an interview.</p>
<p>Do you remember when you got your email? Was it in February? That just seems so late when the app was submitted in October. I guess the alums are all pretty busy too.</p>
<p>Oh, I submitted mine around January 5th or so for RD and got an email in February.</p>
<p>If they told you that you’re fine without one, I wouldn’t stress too much about it.</p>
<p>They’re not required, they’re strongly recommended. And that’s because it gives them a clearer picture of who you are. You’re fine.</p>
