Anyone feel like guessing the curve?

For todays test....
I hope it's not harsh lol

i hope the science one is really good because i definitely did really bad. i completely guessed on about 7 of them which is most likely less than a 30

This is my guess based on the three practice tests I took (from the Real ACT Prep Guide):

English:

-0 36
-1 35
-2 34
-3 33
-4 32
-5 31
-6 30
-7, -8 29
-8 28
-9, -10 27

Math:

0 36
-1, -2 35
-3 34
-4 33
-5 32
-6, - 7 31
-8, -9 30
-10, -11 29

Reading:

-0 36
-1 35
-2 34
-3 32
-4 30
-5 29
-6 28
-7 27
-8, -9 26
-10, -11 25

Science:

-0 36
-1 35
-2 33
-3 31
-4 30
-5 29
-6 28
-7 27
-8, -9 26
-10, -11 25

The English section seemed a bit easier than the average practice test. The math section seemed significantly harder than the average practice test. The reading section seemed a bit easier than the average practice test. The science section seemed significantly easier than the average practice test.

i dont think science was easy at all. i hope the curve is better on that. even reading i think the curve will be higher...i think our view is a bit disoriented since we are CCers lol.

but ya i honestly thought the science was harder...maybe due to timing...?

The curve I gave is only based on how I did on certain science practice tests versus how I feel I did on this one. Though another thread has me thinking that I screwed up the section about birds and genetics, and maybe one of the questions in the physics section. Also, a bunch of people seem to have thought that the belly expansion index (in the section about lions) was: 1 lowest, 5 highest--which is backwards. (I fortunately caught this.) So maybe it wasn't so easy after all.

ohh *****. i think i did that too on science. AHHHHHHH.

the curve is actually much better than that

Hell, I hope so! Like I said, this is just based off my impression and practice tests. I missed 8-10 on the math section, I'd love to get a 30. I probably missed like 7 on science, I'd love to get a 30 there too. And I may have missed 1 on the reading section, I'd like to still get a 36.

I got 8 wrong on math last december and got 31...the curves arent too bad. granted december math was much harder and i didnt finish the last five

yeah ur curves are prob off

dec math was about equal in difficulty tot his one, i got 7 wrong on it and got a 33

Well, I have the curves from the December test from my TIR. Does anyone believe that that will help in guessing the curve? I believed the test was very similar to December save the reading, which this test I thought was much easier.

No $hit? I hope you're right. After doing so well on the practice test I took last night, I was freaking out today when I had to guess on the last six (because of time pressure).

believe it or not u may still get in the 30s if u aced the rest

I expect to get in the 30s, 'cause I probably got a 36 in English and a 35 in reading. I didn't do that bad in science (probably 27-32 somewhere). So if I got 31 or under I'd be very surprised.

So, if my curve is off, does anyone else want to post a prediction?

Yea.

That would be awesome, because I would almost certainly get 30+ in math and science. (I'm already fairly certain I got a 36 in English and a 36 or a 35 in reading).

But...-11 = 30 for science? Really? In one of the practice tests I took (from the Real ACT book) I missed 4 and got a 29! Do you really think there's that much variance?

i think this curve is a little to generous now!! lol

according to PR, -10 on the science is a 26.

^The curve on the actual ACT changes test-by-test though.
