damn, I want to know already....they've had all my stuff since December and they got my transcript a few weeks ago; I'm not worried, just annoyed that I haven't heard back yet. (and my boxes are still normal online!!)

Well, I was hoping that they give a lot of money.

And people are probably dissatisfied with their financial aid if they get less than $10,000.

I don't even care about my financial aid. I just want at least 10,000 worth of merit scholarship.

That's what I meant. Sometime's they're one and the same.

I have been accepted but I have not heard anything about the money. I thought I would recieve some sort of scholarship (I have from other colleges)...but I haven't seen anything about it. Is it merit based or just need based? If anyone has heard anything about scholarships please let me know!!!

Another question: Does Bouve College of Health Sciences have an honors program?

I've only heard of 1 person that got news, and she got a full scholarship, so they're probably working their way down. They offer both merit AND need based aid, and it will come in a letter soon. And as far as I know, the honors program is one giant group that they pick you for during the admissions process. If you don't get in it Freshman year, I've been told you can just apply for it later.

I got this thing today saying I need to give them a full copy of my taxes but I called and they said that as long as I'm not expecting NEED BASED scholarships, I don't need to.

We'll see when the MERIT based ones come....

for the person who wanted to know my stats.

ap english
ap gov't (only 2 but my small school doesn't offer many)

Did anyone else get a phone call from a NEU student asking if you had any questions? That's a nice personalizing feature of the school.

undec...I did too. It actually kind of surprised me that a school that large would do something like that. The guy I talked to was someone in my major too, so that was pretty cool.

Has anyone been accepted and recieved fin. aid or scholarship notice?

I also received that phone call! I told him I was waiting to hear about fin. aid, and he said that scholarship info was mailed Tuesday, March 15th.

i'm going insane waiting for finaid stuff. i don't even want to go to neu that badly but it's still driving me nuts not knowing how much they're giving me. i can't believe they said early march and it's now clearly late march.

my finaid guy said the letters have been going out since the beginning of the week, so they should get to everyone by next week.

and if they were mailed the 15th, i just got a letter from them about the honors program dated the 15th, so shouldn't my scholarship stuff be here too?

upsided, congrats on getting into the honors program! thats awesome.. i didn't know they were still accepting students.

I know how you feel.. what was in the letter about the honors program?

The scholarship info will arrive in a separate financial aid package.

I was accepted on January 31st, and it's almost of the end of March and I still haven't heard about financial aid.

ah, i got into the honors program with my acceptance at the beginning of february, it was just more information about the program... a letter and a brochure. thanks though!

im still waiting for my admissions status...shoudl i call them?

your boxes aren't frozen yet?

i applied via the common app, so i never got a login for their site.

I haven't heard anything yet at all. Hm.

At what point should I be worrying and calling?
