I live in Morris County, NJ. NJ mail must suck cuz none of us got our letters. I have a friend in my school who also applied to vandy ED, and he hasnt gotten his letter either....but today is the day no matter what. It is so funny because i did the EXACT, literally, the exact same thing as you on friday. When i checked my mailbox and didnt get in, i called teh central mailing office and they were like, sorry, nothing we can do, that the first class mail comes in everyday and if it isnt there they cant do anything. and then i called admissions and they told me the exact same thing about calling on monday. Well, let me know if you get in, today is the big day, good luck, hopefully ill be seeing you at vandy in august.</p>

<p>On another note, does anyone know if the new freshman dorms that are now in construction (I think it's called Stambaugh) will be single or double? I was really counting on a single like most of the fresh dorms now, but with the new construction and all freshman now being in one area, I'm thinking it might not be that way. I am calling admissions tomorrow or Wed after finals, but I was just wondering if someone knew already.</p>

<p>The new freshman dorms won't be open until 2008, so if you want a single you'll probably be in Kissam or Vandy/Barnard. In our letters it says we'll recieve applications for housing in april, but once we send in our $400 deposits can we apply online?</p>

<p>o well what can you do 1390 SAT 3.8 weighted GPA excellent recs essay was good but not stellar....everything happens for a reason i guess...congrats to everyone who got in and good luck!</p>
<p>I'm so sorry to hear that, FeelGoodInc389. But you are right, everything happens for a reason. You were meant to end up at some other great school that will be better suited to you. But still... my deepest sympathies. Best of luck on whichever other schools you decide on applying to. If you need any help with anything don't hesitate to pm me or something.</p>
<p>Thanks VandyHopeful appreciate it....right now im hoping for Wake Forest Lehigh BC and Univiersty of Miami and i would not have a problem going to any of them. Congrats to you im sure you will have an awesome time. Ill be more than happy at another school. Happy Holidays</p>

I'm less familiar w. the U of Miami, but as far as WF is concerned, a good friend of mine applied there ED or EA and I was going to apply if rejected. Best of luck w/ that and Happy Holidays!
