<p>I am going to be retaking my SAT 1 during college. Admission officers' views on it are different for different colleges. Some encourage a retake, and some dont.</p>

<p>well you'd wanna specify which colleges...i would say retake them if you think you will score high, just because if you visit a college site, the transfer data often lists the average SAT & GPA for accepted transfer students - which makes me think they will use it if you provide them with it.</p>
<p>Some colleges require the SAT and Subject tests...you should research your choices.</p>
<p>Go ahead and call the specific college of interest and/or check what it says on their website. S called the reachiest college on his list to see what they thought. In that case, Stanford - they wanted you to have the strongest SAT/SATII's you could muster and were fine with re-taking it after some college coursework if you wanted to.</p>
