<p>update on my situation: i got a revised provisional contract that says I'm chill as long as I get a B in math191 this summer. i'm ecstatic, needles to say.</p>

<p>WOW. This situation happened to me too. I got a D in my Calc 2 class, in which I had already been accepted to UCLA as a Pre-Business Economics Major. However, after I submitted my final grades and notified them about my D, I got a response a few weeks later telling me that I can take the class again but must receive a B. I took it this summer, got a B and barely made it in and didn't get rescinded. </p>
<p>The UCLA Rep. said the same thing that if I get a D, I'd be out. But, I'm definitely happy. </p>
<p>The thing is that you can fail and retake a class only ONCE for your pre-major requirements.</p>
<p>@undergrad: did you have much of a reason?</p>
