AP AND SAT2 Chem

Hi, I wanted to know if there is a book that will prepare me for both the AP and SAT2 Chem Test, Thanks. I know there are two really good ones (Arco's, and PR) but I don't know if these will prepare me for SAT2.

I used Barron. it is too dense.
what is Arco's?

Depends on how good your class was. If your class was terrible and you had to read a textbook a lot... use barrons. And also, if you didnt have the class at all, use barrons. Now if you had a good class where you learned a lot, PR should be enough to get you a 700+.

Are you talking about the AP PR or the SAT2 PR, because I want a book that is helpful for both tests. Thanks

Arco's is Petersons.

both. I had a good teacher and i was a good student.. i used PR for AP chem and PR for SAT chem... although i must say, for AP.. i also used Kaplan which helped me a bit on FRQ since Kaplan had tough ones (but i wouldn't recommend kaplan)... I had a 4 on the AP test and a 700 on the SAT. So yeah, PR is pretty good for both.

"5 Steps to a 5"... obviously geared to the AP test but if you are prepared for the AP you are more than prepared for the SAT II I think.

nah i heard 5 steps to a 5 has errors.

studying for the AP exam does over prepare for the SAT. I studied HARD and went in practice tests from a low 3 to a mid 4 (which is very tough by the way). All that studying made the SAT seem easy. So i just looked over the new format for the test.. and took some practice tests.

@keeprolling: Whatever, worked for me.
