I think the MC was easier than the 1999 MC, and the FRQs were easier. But what killed my 5 was the time limit! When I practiced MC at home, I had 5 minutes left over, but when time was up today, I had a lot of blanks! I filled in random ones, but I can say confidently that I got 50+ (hopefully). The frqs - not enough time to finish them - I could have gotten so much more done only if I had paced myself better. Am I the only one who had no choice but to skip several problems? I think I may receive a low 4 (hopefully, haha, better than a 3) btw…will reporting a 3 or a 4 hurt your chances at stanford/ivy leagues (even though it supposedly isn’t a selection factor)?

Are you guys the people who do well in school? Because if those are the people who were taken by surprise, then yes, the curve will save or lives, otherwise, be ready for a lower AP score average, haha.
I know that over here, even the pros had no idea what was going on.
I did like 5 years of old frqs, and none of those compared.
Number one was terrible.

I used to be the top kid in chemistry, until my senioritis started kicking in a year early -_-, but the other top kids said it was difficult, too, so maybe the curve will be really low I didn’t think it was THAT bad, given that I didn’t finish studying all of the material. If I had studied a little harder, I think I could have gotten a 5, even if the time cut me with only half of the frq’s done and with 10 MC questions that I had to randomly bubble in x|

Mightttt have aced the MC, minus 2 points on the FR?

I think i got 60/75 right on MC which is a 5…but my FRQ score may have brought it down to a 2…no joke :(…I completly BSed my way through part A and did “ok” on part B.

Number one was the worst for me.

Also, on the Coordination Complex question on the Net ionics…I didnt know of a ligand that was in the equation. I thought it needed to be a trans metal or Al (in this case Cobalt) with CN- SCN NH3 OH-…did anyone else find it a little odd? :(

IT was so bad

Haha, I just mixed them all together- co(hno3cl)2
Made up compound, but whatever, those points are halved anyway. I dissociated cocl2 for some reason.

Oh wait, no discussion, how di you delete these things?

But yeah, i think the curve will be greatly in our favor. Hope so.

I felt like the Multiple choice couldn’t have been easier. After I got home, I checked and most of my guesses were spot on!!!
I didn’t honestly remember much of the details/numbers for the frq. # One was okay for the first half, but for the second half I guessed on the setups and put “reasonable” numbers. The rest were good (though I rushed on a few) except for maybe some calculation errors.

I feel confident enough, but I know that june will end that :P

guys im really worried abt getting a 5. just like every1 else i thnk i hit a 65 on the mcs but on the frqs i got a 10/15 on the big reactions one and like 5/9 on the rest. what do you guys think my score will be? and how big do u guys think the curve for the frqs is gna be cause it was significantly harder than 10,09,08

[AP Pass - AP Chemistry Calculator](AP Chemistry Test Score Calculator - AP Pass)
i dont know how accurate this is but my friends tell me this is pretty legit. its saying that im gna barely get a 5.

thnks in advance for any1 who can estimate my score :D

i dont get why we dont discuss the ap questions but we do discuss act stuff…

ha. looks like everyone had the same problem with the FRQ’s. Even here in India we were knocked out in the FRQ’s. When the proctor asked how did the paper go none of us muttered a word. I thought APs were easier (read less stressful) compared to the indian education but honestly speaking we all blanked out especially in #1 and #2 of FRQ’s. bump I will never pick up Princeton Review again. Never ever. Seriously. Sticking with NCERT for the next one seems to be the best bet! Calculus BC here I come!!!

in addition to my previous post. I found the MCQ’s easy and doable. Can hope to get 90-95% of them correct.

yeah arrness: same, an hour after SATs, the posts are already 20 pages long

Multiple choice was doable. But the FRQs… … . . . .
I mean parts a and b on FRQ 1 were doable, but then they were like “mix this with this and then proceed to mix what you just mixed with this.” I was like “Huh?”
1,2,3 were torture. 4,5,6 were hard, but they weren’t terrible if you studied.

as much as i don’t want to talk about the actual q’s since we’re not supposed to …i wish people already talked about it on here…cuz i reallly want to see how i did! so i guess i just have to wait 48 hours…

for the net ionic of the one you guys were talking about you were completley wrong

I guess I will start it out…what was the conductor when added to water…and what was the semiconductor? My teacher never went over that :'(

Just like nearly everyone already mentioned, part A on the FRQ’s were hell. Especially number one, at least in my case. I completely blanked, and that is how much of my FRQ turned out… ;). When I started the multiple choice, I thought it was very doable, but then ran out of time to complete the math questions. After that, my self-esteem was shattered, lol. At least many people had similar issues, so there will hopefully be a generous curve.
