here's my thought...6 FRQ right?
1. equilibrium
2. net ionic
3. lab essay
(4. thermodynamics
5. acids and bases
6. bonding (essay))
thats what i think
or at least thats what the odds are

what exactly is the essay for chemistry, is it like the AP bio essays were we write like 2 pages about stuff or do they just want a paragraph or 2...

yea i am thinking the same there!
the bonding essay, probably about why certin boiling points are higher or lower than others

short answer, so like...
use the principles of bonding and molecular structures to explain:
a. HCl has a lower bp than either HF or HBr.

the chem essay isnt like a 5 paragraph essay, it is just a explanation or series of explanations about why or how somthign happeneds.
One could be discussing the boiling points, or the boding of molecules

excatly honuwedb, there was quite a few of them in teh samples

but is that what you're thinking, those 6 topics?

yep, thats really what my course focused on

mine too
im gonna focus on that stuff tonite, bc theres not much time to dillydally

might be a few mc on nuclear chem, soulbility, organic, but nothing major. I think the mc will def have some on bonding, thermochem, stiocheomerty, and a electrochem

am i correct on these?

-for LD forces: greater size molecule = greater IMF's
-for dipole-dipole: smaller = greater IMF's (i think this might be wrong)

yea its pritty close to exam time now, only like 12 hourse left for me, and remember to sleep!

i have, lets see, starts at 8 am, its 520 now...

I didn't even realize there was an "essay" section until today - Anyone have samples/any idea what this stuff is gonna be on?

go to apcentral.collegeboard.com
create an account
and look at the previous years' FRQ and essays

wont be too hard, just like asking you to explain why or how somthing happeneds, keep it short and simple and we will be good,

is it possible to have 2-propanal or is that a typo in the princeton review?

i thought that since the carbonyl groups in aldehydes have to be connected to at least one hydrogen it has to be on the end C and couldnt be on the middle one.

i think its possible but i wouldnt worry about that

okay i know the there are 75 MC in 1 hr 30 mins
but what about the FR? How many minutes per question?

im not sure,
