I'm very good at both science and math. I am very good with using computers. In fact people sometimes come to me for help. I am also very good at using video production softwares to create cool videos with special effects. But Int he course description it said that this course i based on creating games. I remember 2 years ago when we were using a software called, Scratch, I couldn't make a decent game while other people in my class did. That's the only reason why I think I should no take this class. Is AP Computer Science for me?

yes .

Take it. There is nothing to lose.
It takes a lot of time, but I personally love taking the class, even though it is difficult at times.

Now I disagree with these people; you either “get” programming or you don’t. I was a Sophomore taking the class last year, I got a 4 (which I honestly and very ashamed of) while a whole bunch of super smart seniors did not even got over a 2. Its just the way your mind works. Programming is an art; you can use the tools, but a good programmer uses them efficiently. I started C++ when I was 12, may be that hindered me. I had a very dogmatic attitude that C++ is better than Java, what I did in the class was use C++ for a lot of things. That might have tripped me up a bit. Now do not think of AP Comp Sci as a math class; instead think of it as an art class. It takes practice.
