AP Credit for req. 60 units?

<p>Does this CCC (see link below) really give this much for AP credit that can transfer to UCs (mainly, Berkeley)? Because that seems like a lot of credits, making me kind of skeptical if they are just for the AA degree or if they actually transfer too.</p>

<p>UC grants fewer units for APs than that CC - and likely most CCs - do. In general, the 3 unit tests listed are worth 2.67 semester units and the 6 unit tests listed are worth 5.33 semester units at the UCs, or 4 and 8 quarter units respectively. The higher unit tests listed are usually assigned 5.33 semester/8 quarter units. Further, the exact course equivalents that tests clear are determined locally by each UC campus. </p>

<p>How about for the required 60 units? Do they count as 3 and 6 units for them?</p>
