Ok, so next year, I'll be a sophmore in high school. I am going to be taking AP European History and I was wondering if anyone could share with me their experiences from taking this class. Te teacher is very nice, knows what he is talking about, but kind of gets off topic here and there. I am a very organized student. So? Workload? Exam? Help?

By the way, we are getting new books and he is looking for suggestions. Any good textbooks?

I took AP Euro as a sophmore and I found it to be a pretty interesting class. The workload wasn’t bad, we just had the occasional parallel reading or group project. For me, it was a good supplement for AP World because for much of the year, we were covering the same information, though Euro went in to more detail. As far as textbooks, we used a book by Kishlansky (can’t remember the name), but this year they changed it to a book by Merriman i think which the teachers prefer
