Hi, I'm currently enrolled for the 2013 Fall Semester. I'm a Biological Sciences major in the College of Arts and Sciences. As part of the graduation requirements, it states A&S students need 10-12 credit hours of foreign language. It also states, "A&S students satisfy this requirement by completing the final course in one of the following sequences." My senior year in high school I took the AP Spanish Language Exam and received a 4. This gives me credit for Extended Basic Spanish levels 3 and 4 (the "final course of the sequence"). However, this only adds up to 6 credit hours. So, with my AP credits will I still have to take any further foreign language course?

That’s really a question that you should ask your advisor and/or A&S about, bear. Someone may offer their opinion, but you won’t know until you get that confirmed anyway by your A&S advisor. Good luck by the way.
