Ap Physics B [hard/easy?]

yeah i skipped like 16 for MC.. most people in my class (those who actually DID the exam.. b/c many slept through it and many christmas tree-ed it) skipped around 10 to 20 i'd say..

bleh, FR #3 i believe was the one i got stuck on
and maybe #5 or something? dont remember

only #2 and #3 were 15 points right? The rest were 10 points?

3 was probably the toughest. And 6 (the optics?) because my teacher didn't teach us anything about that lol. 2 and 3 were 15, the rest were 10. On the MC I only omitted one though. I was so proud of myself :)

wow, only 1.. i omitted 8.. i usually try to keep it within 10 (preferably at around 5 or 6), so 8 was alright with me.. i loved the free response section.. we went over all of that stuff

in 2 days, let's talk about the FR (college board rules crap).. i wanna see what other's got on some of them so i can make sure if i got them right

Yes, 2 & 3 are worth 37% of your FR grade.

What do you guys think the cut off for a 3 would be this year?

Please say something lower than 60

I am soooo excited!!!

Apparently we all sucked!

The more we suck, the more it's curved!!!

=D

^^ 60/180? Haha, that'd be an excellent curve.

horrible.

MC: skipped around 17
FR: got killed by two of them. the rest.. er.. so-so.

...still hoping for a 4. ....

this exam turned me into an Atheist.

I am expecting a 3, but if i am incredibly lucky, a 4.

MC: Pretty hard for me, but I never really had a class for this course. My teacher didn't teach me anything so I had to teach myself a lot. I skipped 18, I'm expecting about 30/52.
FRQ: Really really easy. I probably got 60-70/80.

I'm expecting a 4 (which im ecstatic about, since I never had a teacher =D)

^^ the FRQ is 70 points total lol
10 + 15 + 15 + 10 + 10 + 10 + 10

I thought the free response in physics B was always a total of 90 points

^^ when weighted. u have to multiply by 1.2 something to get it to 90

i ran outta time in mc and got like probably35-42 of them but i raped the fr . It was my *****.

so i say 4 or 5

here lets look at somethin.
Say u get 5 points on every frq.
Thast 7*5=35pts
Let say u get 40/70 after 1/4 dedcutions.
Now multiply both those number by 1.28571 and add them and u get 96.4. A safe 4.
about 20 pts away from a 5.
which is about 17 more points on the frq, which is about 2 more points on each frq to get a 5.

MC: The majority of our class didn't skip any. The best said maybe 3 wrong at most. A couple skipped 15, but said the non-omits were all correct.

FRQ: Our class didn't much care for #3, but thought they received most of the points. They said the rest were easy.

Sounds like the majority of the class scored 5's. Yay...

MC: it was harder than FR!!!!! wayyy tooo many E and M. I didn't get to cover that much. my teacher didn't talk too much aobut it, so the majority of Physics B was based on my own self-studying and some help, but still, it would be nice if we went over more.
FR: I think i did pretty good on that, espically on optics.
So i might get a 4, but i'm not sure b/c i answered every quetsions and every FR. so i guess i might get 30 wrongs?
hope the curve is super generous this year!!

Never mind, the frq was 80 points.
10+15+15+10+10+10+10=80

honestly, the frqs are more difficult than those past years'
