Do AP scores have an influence on your admissions chances? What if you include a grade report with your application to verify-would that be necessary? I'll have 14 scores by the time I apply, so I would just like to make sure they don't think i'm bs-ing, or something along those lines.

Though "technically" they don't influence your school's choice, in reality it does. It's the same thing with SAT scores that are on your school report. Though they count the highest score, they still are going to look at your other scores, and see if you stayed consistent. I think little things like this would change my mind. If you have 14 scores, maybe they may not read it all, and hopefully you did your best on those exams, which the admissions people will assume.

I mean-on the application-do they see the scores and look at it as another means of evaluation. I mean would they be like: "Oh, he's taken 14 APs and gotten 12 5s" Would that be seen as something impressive or do they not care about AP scores on the app. What if your AP State Scholar or National AP Scholar?

They care...12 5's would looks awesomely nice....

actually..12 5's would make a application look God-like. lets face it, who here has ever seen anyone with that many 5's?

Haha, but would I have to send off my grade report as well? Because they take your scores as you report them. So someone can be like, "Maann. I got 24 5s" or something. The thing is: I self taught myself several of those APs because I couldn't take them in school during the year-not enough time in the day, haha.

I would photocopy the AP grade report and send that to the school (along with the rest of the stuff in the application envolope), especially if some of those APs were self-studied.
