Recently, I received my AP Score for the US Government exam, and was disappointed to see I had gotten a four. I studied really hard for the exam and I thought I would have gotten a 5. Would an AP rescore be a bad decision? Also, if they rescore my exam and they score me lower, will it change the 4 I have right now? Thanks.
I personally think a rescore would be a bad decision. First, you are talking about a 4 versus a 5. If you had a 2, then that may be different. Second, it sounds like a lot of work, not just to request the rescore, but to make sure that CB received the payment, and to contact them about the progress. Third, I’ve read more unsuccessful stories than successful ones, so I think that chances are, your score won’t change.
Being this obsessed as a freshman is not good. Be proud of your score and move on.
Yup. Scores can go up or down. The reality is that the 4 is valid. A rescore, IMO, is just a waste of money in this case. AQ 4 is still a good score. Move on.
