Apartment dining plans? *urgent*

urgent because I have 24 hours to decide on my summer swap.

I was offered an apartment-style residence through summer swap. I would like to accept it, but my parents are arguing with me over the finances (it would cost ~$2000 more than my current residence assignment). If I could save on a dining plan, that could make the difference for getting the apartment or not.

Through my research, I have discovered that there are two plans called “Apartment 500” and “Apartment 1000” which are only available to people in apartment-style residences. Unfortunately the BU website does not seem to offer any details or prices on these plans. Can anybody tell me what these plans cost and what they give you?

I don’t mind if I have to cook for myself once in a while. I don’t need to eat every meal in a dining hall (my apartment would have a kitchen).

Nevermind, I called in and got some answers. If anyone is curious, since they don’t list this info on the website, I’ll share it here:

Apartment 500 plan: 96 meals, 500 convenience points, $1250
Apartment 1000 plan: 96 meals, 1000 convenience points, $1750

And these plans are only available to students assigned to apartment-style residences.

That concludes this thread.
