<p>Hi, I sent my ED app for Penn in October and I'm still waiting for the decision (and hopefully by December 9th we will have them!). I was wondering if it is okay for me to apply ED II to a different school before I get my decision from Penn, or if it would be better to just wait for my Penn decision first. Essentially, I wondering if Penn's ED disqualifies you from applying not just ED at other schools but ED II as well?</p>
<p>I think, if your ED II deadline is after Penn’s results deadline, you can just wait to send it in (just in case). After all, we’ll all know Dec 9, so if it’s a Dec 15 deadline, you should wait. I think if it’s like a Dec 3rd deadline, then you probably can apply ED II and just withdraw the app right away after Penn (assuming you get in).</p>
<p>I am 99% certain that you CANNOT have more than one active ED application at a time. I think it says that on the ED agreement form. I would recommend what hardworking21 said: wait until after you get your Penn decision before you submit the second app.</p>
