Applying for dorms?

<p>I was accepted to USC about a month ago; and is stalling in my application for housing,
because i still have about 10 places to hear from in April.
However, I still want to snag a single dorm before they are all taken because I'm
pretty sure if I don't get into a few select colleges (you probably guess which) I will be packing my bags to SoCal.</p>

<p>If I sign up for a dorm, would it indicate that I've accepted the admission& make irretrievable? </p>

<p>Really, I do NOT want/need the roommate experience. I've shared rooms with 4x removed cousins. Annoying- yes, but I got along fine.
I tend to mumble my studies& stay up really late, so I really need the single dorm.</p>

<p>You can still sign up for housing even if you do not plan on attending USC. It will cost you about $45 of deposit that you wont get back though. Sign up now, because those singles are limited.</p>
