Applying for fall of 2010 Cornell

Internationals: What country are you from by the way? Where do you live presently?
Me from France, Actually in Florida…

Do they gauge internationals as being international students or do they mean internationals as being transfers from OUTSIDE OF US.

I think there’s a key difference in that lesser students apply to transfer in from outside of US than internationals studying in US

I have a question, how many admitted students transfer from a CC in 2009, or normally?

^ around 500

I got it from here, ir says about 160 out of 500http://admissions.cornell.edu/pathway/index.cfm

o.O 500 over 800+ admitted transfer students ??

my bad. i thought all 500 transfers are all from CC. so it is 1/3 of 500 then

Anyone else mail in all of their items and not get an applicant ID yet? I figure I should wait until next week before making some noise.

I haven’t gotten mine yet either. It’s driving me crazy.

ah I fail my interview. I only talked with professor Arturs Kalnins for less than 30 mins.

was it phone or in person?

in person Castiel. I went to Cornell campus and we had an interview outside not in his office. After the interview, he folded my resume into half. Ahhhhh, may be that’s it… My only hope is that he really wanted to go home for his spring break.

lol I am pretty sure that was it, don’t worry. Plus if he has your resume that is a good sign. Also, interviews have little weight on the application and I hear they are used to see if your the race you reported or not crazy.

But I think they are more important in the Hotel School, but not too much. I always thought if they couldn’t decide between two hotelies then they picked the better looking one(why else are they all so hot?). haha I am just kidding. Trust me I think you will do fine.

I still haven’t gotten my Net ID number. Darn Spring Break.

So the financial aid office finally received all my stuffs! They are sooo fasttttttt, the admission office needs to speed up!

weirdon, i mentioned northwestern instead of uchicago…during my UCHICAGO interview.i am way more fail than you.
i remember tanking my cornell interview last year because of some weird misunderstanding about DDR…

Hi everyone!

Is there anyone else applying to Human Ecology? and if so what is your major? I received my NetId a couple of days ago but once you log in and click on “check application status” it just says they are processing a lot of applications and no information is available at this time.

Damn, I just receive an email from the transfer admission office. My complete courses description / syllabi are missing. I have till the 9th to send them. What the heck? I sent those documents march the 10th via priority mail. I will have to go to the postal office tomorrow and check it out. That’s not a good sign… NOt at all…
