Are any top business schools still taking applications?

<p>Hey all, </p>

<p>About two months ago I posted on this board inquiring about my transfer options. Everyone was extremely helpful and I was able to properly evaluate my situation and make a decision on what I wanted to do. At the time, I felt it may be best for me to stay at my current school (U. of Pittsburgh), but recently have had feelings of wanting to transfer again. My question is though, are any top business schools (top 25-30) still taking applications? I am a finance and accounting major and plan to stay an extra semester to finish my degree in both. If anyone knows of any, please let me know, I would greatly appreciate it. </p>

<p>Also, some stats/demographics if needed: From Pittsburgh, PA, 3.84 QPA, white (don't know if race would matter or not). </p>

<p>well, i guess the better question would then be...which of these schools can i transfer directly into the business program without needing to spend a year in the CAS or something of that nature</p>

<p>most schools I know require you to transfer directly into the business program if you want to major in business</p>

<p>For most top schools, it will be easier to transfer into the school as a junior if you've been there for a year. So if you're a freshman right now, most likely, you'll spend a year in CAS, which will make it easier to transfer into the business program.</p>

<p>i think smith here at umd is still taking apps. Smiths is a good school.</p>

<p>The best thing for you to do would be to search the deadlines of your preferred schools your self. It takes less than 2 minutes to find out the application deadline and you would be sure of the data. Unless there is someone here who already complied such a list and is willing to share with you, just take 15 minutes and do it.</p>

<p>the only two schools I know of that have stopped taking apps is Harvard and Amherst. You have until at least March 1 for your apps. But of course that's just a week away.</p>

<p>NYU has not been taking freshman applications for over a month - deadline Jan 15th. Transfer application deadline is April 1st.</p>

<p>Right! :). I arrived at this thread by a search for NYU, so it wasn't immediately obvious to me that the topic line was "transfers". Well, at least the info I provided was accurate! Thanks.</p>
