<p>I am doing the IBDP and have the following subjects:
Economics, Business and Management and Math at HIGHER LEVEL
and English, French and Biology at standard level..
ARe my subjects good enough to get me into a college like Yale or does such a college have some recommended subjects? If there are recommended subjects, what are they?

<p>I think all your subject choices are good except for HL business and management. Its not viewed highly by colleges and colleges tend to prefer HL economics (which you’ve taken). If i were you i’d take another HL subjects (english or, humanity). </p>
<p>I know this because when i was choosing my IB subjects this year, the school’s IB coordinator told me not to take HL business if i want to study economics/finance at university. And the school even bans the combination of both economics and business as the combo is looked down upon. </p>
<p>And from my knowledge, you don’t need specific subject choices to get into a particular college but it would obviously be advisable to take courses that would correlate with your intended major as that would help you in the long run. </p>
