Been to dances, didn’t like it.

Yes, I shall be going because I enjoy dressing up and showing off. And it’s fun to go out with my friends. This will be my fourth year attending prom even though it’s reserved for upperclassmen. (My older friends always took me as their “date”.)

Bdangle knows wassapppp

Golfah knows what’s gooood. Honestly, now I’m all worked up, next dance is the 22nd. It’s been too long. Here we go

Haha I guess we NH peeps are the only ones on CC’s who actually like dances. Though no dance I’ve been too has been covered by The Boston Globe, they’re still pretty fun. Don’t worry about getting a date or whatever, just dance w/ whoever is there. And ummm grinding was new, like, waay before any of us were in high school…

Though don’t worry too much about prom specifically, it’s just another dance. True, you’ll probably actually need a date for this one, but that’s overrated as well. Just have fun, rock out, hang w/ friends, flirt and what not! Think about something other than getting into college for once!

To be honest, my junior prom kinda sucked last year. But i went to senior prom too (big pimpin) and that was a lot of fun, now that I’m a senior it’ll be even better, cuz last year I had to join the other juniors and step back and let the seniors have their time together.
Oh and simone where you at in NH?

I’ve never been to a prom! Mainly because I’m home schooled this year, but when I was in regular high school we had formals. They were usually really stupid. One year we went to a play and the next year we had a techno rave. Sadly, we had Nazi Chaperons. One set by our DJ and made sure every song was kosher. The others went by either censoring our dancing or pulling up pants. Blah… : o/

IThinkICan, that SUCKS! Haha our principal (Victor Sokul, if you look up “exeter high school grinding boston globe” he is mentioned in it) tried to enforce “no grinding for a dance.” Failed miserably. They were kicking people out left and right until they realized they couldn’t kick EVERYONE out. Then he said that the next dance would be grinding free, or else there wouldn’t be any more dances. Nobody went to the dance, and the senior class (last year), who gets the money from the dances, took a huge hit to the pocketbook. Now, grinding is allowed. At Homecoming you can get away with some pretty dirty stuff as long as the girl’s down with it. Haha it’s not like people try to exploit girls…they’d get the **** beaten out of them if they tried to, any number of the guys would step in to help out a girl.

Nope!! Prom is overrated… I’m sick of high school. I will probably tell someone who asks me that I just don’t feel like attending.

Yes, I’m definitely going to prom if my school has one this year (it’s a small school, and we don’t always have the funding/leadership). I love dancing and dressing up. I won’t be going with anyone, but I’m sure I’ll have a good time anyways because my friends will (hopefully) be there.

Yes I’m goin to prom! although I was so high at my juniors prom that I can’t remember much of it except it was a reaaally good time for me and my date ;)

No…too expensive.

I think I’ll go to senior prom. Junior prom was fun. I had friends who NEVER went to any dances or social events. They said they didn’t want to go to prom and wouldn’t dance or feel awkward or w/e. They all went and ended up having a great time.

Why not go? It’s part of the HS experience. It doesn’t matter if you don’t have a date or whatever. Just let yourself have fun…

Maybe. I don’t really want to go but I might get dragged into it by friends. I personally don’t really see the point. There’s a bunch of loud music and I would have to wear a dress (and I hate formal attire). Addtionally, prom at my school sucks. It’s a small country school, so there are a lot of people who try to dance…and can’t. Also, all the slow songs that they play are country, which I dislike, and the prom is also really poor quality because our school is poor (last year they got black sheets and draped them on a string around the cafeteria where we were holding it so people couldn’t see the lunch equipment)

^^ I’ve spent my high school years up in the “North Country” if you will, specifically Littleton (pretty much the only town above Plymouth worth going to)

haha I’ve never heard of Littleton. Have you heard of Gilmanton? That’s probably the most north I’d ever like to get (haha and that’s pretty south) unless I’m gonna go skiing or climb mount washington again

I can have more fun going to things other than dances.

MIT, that’s what a bunch of people say. It depends on where you go. If your dances, suck, then by all means, don’t go to them. But if they’re great, like at my school, you literally probably don’t have anything better to do haha. There’s a few kids at my school who think they’re cool because they don’t go to the dances haha they’re just pathetic and can’t get girls

I didn’t go to my Junior prom, and I don’t plan to go to my Senior prom. I hate everyone at my school and don’t want to spend $100 to see them grinding on each other while bad music plays.

you sound like a cheery fellow
