Hello, is anyone here familiar with the Cornell Asian studies program?

Im interested in persuing this major in college, so what are some classes students generally take when applying to CAS?

thank you.

i heard it easy

I applied to CAS under Asian Studies major! But if I am accepted and enroll, I'll probably double or even triple major with Government and Economics because I want to pursue International Relations.

Are you asking about some classes HS students generally take when applying to CAS?

I don't know if the chance is higher if applying CAS with an easy major or hard one. Most high school classes are on rigid schedule right? not much choice. There're the major ones: math, science, English, history, language, elective. If you declare prospective asian studies major, maybe take some world history, Asian language class

if applying for asian studies major, then maybe take a summer class or an online course on asian101 or

read asian novels or histories and then write about that on your application...

@YunaCamel: there's also an international relations minor.
