But my class of 2009 is really smart so I predict for ours we will have over 10 that get over 2000.

1400-1800 is on the higher range, though.

My school just has a great deal of unintelligent kids who could care less about their education. The highest I heard of in my grade was a 2140 which is rather pathetic for the school as a whole. My school nearly failed state testing twice. Only twenty of 600 of us are smart.

thanks for chancing me, now it's my turn to chance you. I never really heard of any of your schools, except brown. But if you get to 2200, I'm pretty sure you can get into like any school you want. Do you have any ideas for me to raise 500 points, please reply on my thread. If you read my thread, my goal is 2000, and i have around 1550 right now. Please help me!!!!

GPA, SAT, all honors is all good
The fact that most of your EC"s are your interest based is VERY good

RPI - dont really know about this school
WPI - ditto
Brown - match
Tufts - match/ safety ?
Umass - ditto
amherst - reach

Chance me please

tufts isn't a safety for anybody. don't listen to citybirds.

i thot it was compared to the other shcools.. .isn't brown and amherest a lot harder?

even if it is easier than amherst or brown, you can't call a school w/ a 27% acceptance rate and falling a safety school.

ok i take that back

token89 . agreed.

i won't write chances. i'll do predictions.
RPI - in
WPI - in
Brown - waitlist-reject
Tufts - in
Umass - in
amherst - reject

hmm thanks, I didn't realize amherst was so difficult and that RPI was easier than it.

21% acceptance rate and 1380-1510 SAT (off the top of my head), yeah it's pretty tough. u might get in though. u never know.

u have a good chance at the colleges, brown may be a reach but def. go for it

token, wow, I really need to research amherst admissions stats some more. Thanx for telling me that.

europe, thanx for the reply.

i was a little off but just get on college board.
http://apps.collegeboard.com/search/CollegeDetail.jsp?collegeId=2354&type=qfs&word=Amherst

i love how people call me token. kinda funny.

heh... Token!!

thats amherst college...I had meant Umass amherst-which is practically ten times easier....you scared me....you really did!
Amherst College doesn't have a big engineering/sciences department, I don't know if I'd go for that one....

oh my bad. i guess i read that wrong

Yeah, haha, UMass Amherst is a huge safety net. Even RPI and WPI are safeties. Might want to look at Cornell-- they have a really good engineering program, and it's easier to get into than Brown.

oh yeah u'll definitely get in there. isn't RPI in the middle of nowhere?
