Yeah, the west coast markets seem suuuuper competitive. But after hearing how many people are in the others, I have to wonder if my counselor was right I was the only one applying from my school as far as I know, but I live a little outside of Austin so I don’t know what it’s like elsewhere.
And they really should! Make the playing ground a little fairer. But best of luck to you :)

This is the only program left from which I haven’t been rejected yet. I’m screwed if I get rejected, but unfortunately, I probably will be.

for all the LA folks out there, BOA said final decisions will be made late May. no interviews

did you call the main boa office to find out about that? i want to know if my market is conducting interviews or not…

finally…another Austin applicant. I have looked at the past two years of threads, and I never read about an Austin applicant! I was the only person to apply from my school as well. I really hope I get in, although I do have some other forum/camps I got into, so I have some backups. However, I feel like BOA is far more prestigious than any one of those and far more satisfying. Where are you appling from challengAccepted?

@bartonsprings. just curious, but what other programs did you apply to?

and also about the 30-40 people thing. I’m not sure if that is necessarily a good thing because I’m pretty sure the more “dedicated” and driven students are applying then since it is a much more condensed group.

Hi hotcheetos, I’m from the east bay market too! If you find out if our market is conducting interviews could you please post it on here? I don’t think it is but just maybe.

well I just applied to some leadership camps situated around my area as well as some business camps and already got accepted in a couple.

I’m from the RI market, had an interview a couple weeks ago, and just got accepted today!!

Just wanted to let you guys know that I applied under the Orange County market and received an interview several weeks ago. I am still waiting on an acceptance or rejection letter. At the time of the interview they told me that we would know for sure if we got into the program by April 23. If any of you have any more information about this market or have heard anything please let me know. Thanks!

Anyone else from NYC get it besides me? About how many do they take each year anyway?

Oh and if you’re from NYC and got waitlisted or something… I might turn down the offer if I get my first choice.

You might be right about that. Better odds, but stiffer competition.
And I’m applying from a little south of Austin, I don’t actually live inside the city. If I don’t get this, it’s just work for me.
But congrats on the other acceptances!

Accepted from California! :)

@ MarmyQ
Did they call you or did you receive a mail?

Has anybody heard from the Inland Empire market? I’m starting to get nervous because I don’t know how competitive the market in my area is.

@ cutepuppy5889
They called me.

MarmyQ- what market are you from?

Orange County :)
