I’m also working on/finishing up my loci and sending that asap! I might find some way to submit more of my artwork, as I submitted a photography portfolio as part of my initial application. good to know about letters of rec, I might have asked someone for another but now I probably won’t
I sent my deferral letter a few days ago but my AO is so bad at replying email, like always… I cced it to the ED and admissions email but none of them got back to me, I tried calling but they never called back… So anxious lol
Oh my goodness…my DD just received a likely letter (email) from Barnard. Never knew they did such a thing! I did some research and it’s not common so please do not panic if you didn’t get one. I wonder if they send it in case the applicant would consider rescinding an ED2 app somewhere else…

What in the hen. My jaw is on the floor. I just got a freaking likely letter (also at the 3:38pm). I didn’t think I was even gonna get in/waitlisted so I am SHOCKED!

I doubt it😢 Idk what the stats are for Barnard but I saw that only 10% of people accepted to vandy get a likely letter. I will be telling myself that this also applies to barnard until decision day😌

75%+ percentile grades & tests but by no means perfect!
very politic-focused ecs with some leadership (but also a lot of membership :)) I think I was better at having that gov’t theme than necessarily being impressive
my essays were kinda whack but def some personality in there! hope this helps lmk if u have any questions

I actually just reread my barnard supplements and they were not great by any means. I think that my supplement about a conversation with a women in history was definitely the strongest
