someone in a different thread said that they called barnard and they’ll be sending the notification date tomorrow
@ccln2018 I remember when I first visited Barnard (3 years ago), Barnard still had its old library and now hopefully if we enter Barnard as students, we’ll get to experience the beautiful Milstein!

Interesting that they didn’t send it out today. I wonder if that means that it will push back decisions from what we predicted to be next Tuesday into next Wednesday. I hope that doesn’t mean they just had so many applicants that they weren’t ready today. That’s simply speculation, however. Hoping for an update tomorrow!
Hey y’all! Long time reader, first time poster.
So I’m bugging out, because I was sent an email asking for my first quarter grades, but because of some health issues I had in the beginning of this year, my grades won’t be finalized until tomorrow. I’m worried that if that info doesn’t get to them before decision day I will be toast. Ahhhhh.
Any advice? Should I email them about the situation?
@elkakey do email them. And if possible, get your counselor mail them too- you’ll be fine after that no worries!!
Wait so how does Barnard notify about acceptances ? Do we just get a letter or do they also send out an email or update the portal thing where it has our application materials ?
@collegeknowlege you get a mail in a few days - your portal will be updated first and if you’re international you get an email (not sure whether domestic applicants get emails)
@elkakey I wouldn’t worry too much about it! My first quarter grades came out on Friday and my counselor basically said that she wouldn’t send them until Dec 8th or 11th, so my grades aren’t gonna be there for a while. She sent an email for me, but I’m sure they’ll understand.

They must be sending out the emails today because it’s looking like the day is the 13th…

My counsolor yesterday told us that colleges normally send out stuffs after 7pm Eastern Time, since students in California are out of school and won’t freak out about their admission results.
Hello all! I’m also an ED applicant here. Are we (hopefully) getting our actual decision letter/email today or just the email informing of us of the exact date we’ll be getting them?
Hi @coccaro0 We’re probably not getting the decisions today, just an email of the notification date which will likely be some time next week.
We were hoping the email with the notification date would have come out yesterday (based on last year) so now we’re hoping for today!
So I just called the college and they said we would get the notification date email around 2 days before they send the actual email out… so probably not until sometime this weekend or Monday is my guess. good luck everyone!
