Hi guys! I'm currently an Art History and History student at the University of South Carolina Honors College (SCHC). It's not a bad school, but it really doesn't have anything to offer for my major - not a good location relative to cultural institutions, connections, and the program is only ok. Barnard is my number one for transfer options. My love for NYC knows no bounds, I've researched some great professors and their writing, the environment seems supportive and very academically focused.

SAT: 730 critical reading, 700 writing, 580 math = 2010
HS GPA: 4.7 (I'm not sure what it is unweighted)
Top 10% of class
AP: 5 on Euro History, 3 on Lang and Comp, 5 on Lit and Comp
AP Scholar Award
National Honors Society
National Latin Exam awards

College GPA: 3.9 and 4.0 in majors. I expect to get at least this second semester.
Alpha Lambda Delta Honors Society - freshman with academic achievement in first semester

Extra Curricular
- president of Latin club junior year, member throughout HS
- editor of school paper junior year, reporter sophomore year
- Child literacy program in college
- The Kenyon Review Young Writers
- playwriting and performing project with USC junior year
- I interned at the local United Way before senior year, and I am currently an intern at the local museum of art and a page at the General Assembly.
- fencing club

I might try out for something musical this semester.

I really appreciate anyone looking this over and giving me a somewhat education opinion. Thank you so much!
