Barnard RD 2016 Hopefuls!

Nothing in NJ… :(

nothing in Kansas City

i’m from new jersey too (Princeton) and I didn’t get anything today either :</p>

I’m not home yet but I’m assuming that I won’t get anything today seeing as I live in CA… Urgh more waiting! The vassar decision is coming out today though

I didn’t get anything in the mail today from Barnard. I live in MO. Hopefully just one more day of waiting.

I’m from Upstate New York (about 4 hours from Barnard), and I didn’t get anything, but my mail is notoriously slow. I wasn’t expecting anything today, anyway–whatever envelope I get, big or small, is probably an hour away at the main mail sorting facilities in the area. Fingers crossed for all of us, ladies! :)

So it looks like the majority of them didn’t arrive today, even for people that live pretty close to Barnard. That makes me feel much better. I’m almost certain tomorrow will be the day for me…fingers crossed!

Just got an e-mail. I was rejected. I applied for a lot of financial aid but don’t want to blame only that. Well, it’s 3 rejections and 1 waitlist, now - 4 schools left but pretty much no chance for me.

I was really looking forward studying in the States. Too bad.

Still waiting in Rhode Island…praying for good news. If it is a yes, will I get it from the mailman or from the mail truck? (I am sorry if this does not make sense, but sometimes larger packages come separately). Does anyone know?

Ugh. this wait is unbearable.

It’s not a big package, so it will be regular mail.

MisaMysa, I’m so sorry! I understand how you feel, I moved to CA from Norway last year to study in the states. Which country are you from?

waiting in WA

hoping for tomorrow in florida!

@fuzzibunniboo: The Czech Republic. Thanks for your sympathy.

I just got rejected from Vassar… do you guys think I should worry? Vassar accepted 660/8000 this year.

^Well, Barnard’s acceptance rate is much higher, so you still have a chance!

@lilylives I was rejected too… 660/8000 is so low! That’s less than 10% admit rate…

I know!! it was 24 percent last year, I don’t understand. I don’t care, Barnard is and always has been my first choice, but it definitely shook my confidence.

Got waitlisted at Barnard. Still happy as it is a wow factor for me :stuck_out_tongue:  haha

still waiting in westchester, ny. weird because im so close to barnard, right? is that a bad sign? did all the admitted students get their letters today??
